Dalitang in Chongqing

(*) = Certain information can only be found in our guide book.

Dalitang is a traditional People’s Hall, which was built in 1954. There is also the 3 Gorges Dam Museum, a great place, and a traditional Chinese gate. The People's Hall offers a peaceful backdrop, but no more. For a small fee it can be visited. The museum gives an overview of the 3 Gorges Dam and the history of Chongqing. At dusk many Chinese gather in the square to spend with other Chinese, to play, dance, sing or just watch others. Dalitang is on the Yuzhong peninsula.

Our suggestion: Make a picture of the People's Hall, best from the museum. Also popular is a picture (*). A visit to the museum is also worthwhile to learn something about the (*) of Chongqing and other issues.
