Ferry services between Malta and Gozo

Online since:

Gozo Channel Line Ferry

There are two ferry connections between Malta and Gozo. One service runs from Sa Maison at the Pieta Greek near Valletta, to Mgarr on Gozo, and the other runs between Cirkewwa, in the far north of Malta, to Mgarr (Gozo).

The ferries leave Cirkewwa, found at the northern tip of Malta, every 30 to 45 minutes until late at night. On Saturdays, they sail even later, past midnight. The crossing takes about 20 minutes.  A return ticket for a vehicle and driver is 15.40 Euros. Without a vehicle, an adult pays about 5 Euros for a crossing, while children pay about 1.40 Euros.

The crossing from Sa Maison (near Valletta) to Mgarr (Gozo) takes about 45 minutes. This ferry operates only once a day.
