City in Malta

The area with the highest population density by far in Malta is Valletta and its surroundings, with a population of approximately 255,763 people. Hence, 66 per cent of the country’s population live in or around the capital. The city of Valletta itself, however, only has 6,315 inhabitants and ranks as the 27th largest community in Malta.
