Marsascala

Online since: 09. April 2013

Marsascala Bay

Marsascala lies south-east of Malta and resembles the sight of St.Julians, or vice versa. Marsascala has a nice, deep inland going bay. The bay is surrounded with a promenade. Unfortunately, the city isn’t a good starting point to discover Malta, because of its bad location and infrastructure.

The city is comparable to other cities in Malta not very big and unfortunately doesn’t attract many tourists. However, the city is nice, calm and offers in many ways some entertainment. There is one cinema with 4 screens, some hotels, restaurants, some smaller sights, a nice bay and promenade, cafes, and also some small nightlife.

Promenade in MarsascalaMarsascala has a stony coast and there are only few beaches. The few beaches are very small and not very wide. It’s possible to lie on some spots of the stony coastline, because the stones are even and smooth. There are also stairs leading into the sea which simplify going into the water.

Corinthia Jerma Palace Hotel Marsascala

The Corinthia Jerma Palace Hotel is situated directly by the sea, outside the centre of the village of Marsascala in the southwest of Malta. Only 12 kilometres separate the hotel from Malta’s capital. The golf club in Marsa is only 10 kilometres away. Other sport facilities, such as tennis courts, a fitness studio and squash courts, are situated there, too. The hotel has 326 rooms.
