Greens Supermarket’ is a family run business which has been in the supermarket trade for a number of years. It all started as a small family grocer some 30 years ago and today it is a second generation family concern operating a large Supermarket with an area of over 1,000 sq. meters of space in one of Malta’s up market localities. The firm has a compliment of 40 personnel of which many are family members ensuring that personal and constant special attention towards our clientele and which has contributed towards the success of this enterprise.This firm has always believed in keeping abreast with the newest technology. During the years we have always invested through continuous refurbishing programs ensuring our refrigeration and freezer counters together with our shelving are the latest available from the continent mainly from Italy.We purchase our supermarket food products from local sources, but since Malta joined the European Community we have established many trade contacts with wholesale suppliers within the community, mainly from Sicily, Italy, Germany, including The Nederland’s and the United Kingdom.Our main aim is to ensure that our clientèle will always have the best available products with the most advantageous prices."

PAVI Shopping Complex is centrally located in Manuel Dimech Street, Qormi; covering approximately 16,000m2. The Complex was set up and inaugurated in November, 2006 by Mr. Paul Gauci and Mr. Victor Grech. The main shopping area of the Shopping Complex is PAVI Supermarket, which is located on the ground floor and covers a sales area of over 4,000 square meters. Finished to high standards and offering a wide range of food, household goods and other ancillary products.  PAVI has the largest supermarket in Malta, offering the greatest variety of products and brands.

The Shopping Complex also consists of the following Third Party Outlets such as Square Cafe, Tal-Vista Opticians, Agenda Bookshop, Heavenscent Perfumery, a BOV Office, a GO Outlet, a Banif Branch, an Atlas Insurance Office, a Maltco Lotto Booth, Straight Cut Hair Salon, OVS Fashion Store, Tip Toes Shoe Store a Pizza Hut Restaurant and My Toys toyshop. 

The Complex has truly become a one-stop shop for many people all over Malta, especially for after-work shoppers.

PAVI Supermarket

The Supermarket has been developed and designed in a manner to offer the best possible shopping experience. All food and non-food retail space within the PAVI Supermarket is situated on one floor and enjoys a logical layout and customer-friendly design. Twenty five checkout points facilitate customer flow, minimising queues during the peak shopping hours. This main retail hall, currently the largest in the Maltese Islands, incorporates 22 rows of shelving units with a 2.3m wide aisle for comfortable shopping and a shop-in-shop concept including; La Vigna – Wine & Gourmet Cellar, PAVI Household Department, PAVI Do-it-Yourself, PAVI Pet Shop, PAVI Beverage Area, PAVI Butcher operated by Chef Choice, PAVI Fish Shop, a Jubilee Foods Outlet, PAVI Healthy Lifestyle for health foods, PAVI Fresh Pasta, PAVI Delicatessen, PAVI Fruit & Vegetables and PAVI Bakery. The Complex’s intermediate floor comprises of an internal covered car park of 4,615m2 with a further 6,375m2 of car parking space situated on the Complex’s roof. In total these areas can accommodate approximately 500 car park spaces, amply supporting the Complex’s needs, even at peak times.

PAVI Shopping Complex can be reached very easily by private transport, public transport and now also with a newly launched service of the PAVI Courtesy Bus. PAVI Shopping Complex provides a pick up and return service to clients from various locations around the Island, free of charge every Tuesday.

PAVI Shopping Complex also caters for persons with Special Needs, offering reserved parking spaces and special trolleys for ease of use with a wheel chair.

  • Gozo: Monday to Sunday, 8AM-8PM, including public holidays
  • Portomaso: Monday to Saturday, 8AM-9PM; Sunday, 8AM-8PM; including holidays


  • Gozo – outside Arkadia Commercial Centre plus the Girls’ College next door after school hours, weekends, and school holidays
  • Portomaso – FREE 2 hour parking with a purchase of € 15 or more.

We also provide free home deliveries to our customers who place orders of €70 or more. All you have to do is either contact us by phone (Gozo: 2210 3316, Portomaso: 2103350) or by sending an e-mail at deliveries@arkadiafoodstore.com.

Fresh Produce
At Arkadia Foodstore customer can enjoy the availability of fresh produce. This is through speciality food counters situated in each foodstore. At Arkadia Foodstore you will find a fully stocked butcher, delicatessen, and fishmonger counters. Customers also enjoy a wide selection local and exotic product in a dedicated fruits and vegetables section.
